Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled AC Ducting Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of HVAC ductwork using both polyurethane (PU) and galvanized iron (GI) or other sheet metal materials. You must have a strong understanding of ductwork specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble various types of ducting, including straight ducts, elbows, reducers, and transitions, from both PU foam panels and sheet metal (GI).

Cutting & Shaping: Precisely cut and shape materials according to technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

Installation: Assist with the installation of fabricated ductwork at job sites, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.

Tool Maintenance: Maintain and operate fabrication tools and machinery, such as plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, and hand tools, in a safe and efficient manner.

Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an AC Ducting Fabricator, with specific expertise in both PU and metal ducting.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Material Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of different materials used for ducting, including PU panels and various types of sheet metal.

Tool Proficiency: Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized fabrication machinery.

GCC Experience: Prior work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is preferred.

Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.

Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
