Job Opportunity: The Carbone Clinic is looking for a Behavior Therapist in Dubai The Carbone Clinic in Dubai opened in October 2013 under the leadership and direction of Dr. Vincent J. Carbone, Ed.D., BCBA-D. Our mission is to provide evidence-based behavior analytical services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Carbone Clinic in Dubai provides direct one-on-one services in a center-based program and is looking for full-time Behavior Therapist to provide direct one-on-one behavior analytical services. This is an excellent opportunity to receive training from Dr. Carbone and his colleagues in the application of behavior analytical principles and procedures to children with autism. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach learners the most developmentally appropriate functional skills as determined by each individual assessment and treatment plan
• Work with individual learners or groups of learners within the natural environments
• Responsible for daily upkeep of program materials for assigned learners
• Receive passing scores on competency evaluations for instruction and record keeping
• Interact with parents and others in a professional manner
• Protect and ensure the health and safety of each child in the Center
• Assist learners with health and hygiene practices
• Participate in the development of reports, treatment plans and problem behavior reduction plans
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms

• Ability to lift 15kg / 30 lbs (to lift a child)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in behavior sciences, psychology, nursing, or education
• Training in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred, e.g. RBT
• At least two years demonstrable ABA work experience in a clinic or school setting - written references will be sought, please identify suitable providers of these references
• Excellent English, spoken and written
