Responsibilities and Duties: (A) The privileges of an A320 SFE is to conduct in an FFS (or for the requirements the applicable FSTD):
Skill tests and proficiency checks for the issue, revalidation or renewal of type ratings
Proficiency checks for revalidation or renewal of IRs, when combined with the revalidation or renewal of a type rating, provided that the SFE has passed a proficiency check for the aircraft type including the instrument rating within the last 12 months
Skill tests for ATPL (A) issue
Assessments of competence for the issue, revalidation or renewal of an SFI certificate in the relevant aircraft category, provided that the examiner has completed at least 3 years as an SFE
Note : Limitation of privileges in case of vested interests SFE shall not conduct:
a) skill tests or assessments of competence of applicants for the issue of a license, rating or certificate to whom they have provided flight instruction for the license, rating or certificate for which the skill test or assessment of competence is being taken
b) skill tests, proficiency checks or assessments of competence whenever they feel that their objectivity may be affected
(B) The privileges of an A320 SFI is to conduct instructional training in FFS/FTD
Requirements and Qualifications: (A) SFE Applicants for an SFE certificate for applicable Aircraft Type (A320 family):
have relevant knowledge, background and appropriate experience related to the privileges of an examiner
hold or have held an ATPL with A320 fam type rating
hold an SFI(A) certificate for applicable aircraft Type Rating
have at least 500 hours of flight instruction time as SFI on A320
shall have not been subject to any sanctions, including the suspension, limitation or revocation of any of their licenses, ratings or certificates issued in accordance with KCASR, for non-compliance with the Basic Regulation and its Implementing Rules during the last 3 years
(B) An applicant for an SFI certificate shall:
hold or have held an ATPL with applicable Type Rating (A320 family)
have completed the LST for the issue or, if applicable, LPC for the revalidation of the applicable aircraft type rating in an FFS representing the applicable type, within the 12 months preceding the application
have at least 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on A320 family
have completed, as a pilot or as an observer, within the 12 months preceding the application, at least
have no Regulatory violations or been subjected to any disciplinary actions within the last 12 months
