Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:Independently prepare and cook dishes to order (e.g., proteins, vegetables, starches, sauces, garnishes).
Station Management:Organize, stock, and maintain assigned cooking stations, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready.
Quality Control:Adhere to recipes, portion sizes, seasonings, and presentation standards; monitor food temperatures and quality.
Order Execution:Accurately read orders and deliver dishes efficiently, coordinating with service staff.
Hygiene & Safety:Maintain cleanliness and follow all federal, state, and corporate sanitation guidelines (HACCP) for food handling and equipment.
Inventory & Ordering:Rotate stock (FIFO), manage inventory levels, and generate orders for needed items.
Equipment Operation:Safely operate various commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers).
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in various cooking techniques (grilling, frying, steaming).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork with kitchen and service staff.
Passion for high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
