Engineering and R&D Department
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for releasing design drawings and 3D models to production with updated BOMs in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Release sheet metal, piping, coil, and base frame design drawings and BOMs to the shop floor as per schedule.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including CAD drawings, BOMs, design calculations, and specifications.
Use Inventor or Creo software within Teamcenter PDM environment.
Program 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor iLogic for design automation.
Design and develop enhancements to the existing product range.
Support cross-functional teams on technical matters.
Review and verify subordinate design drawings before release.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and mandatory legislation.
Continuously improve product design for cost efficiency and performance.
Stay updated and enhance skills in emerging CAD tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum
3 years of experience
in a relevant design engineering role
Technical Skills:
Experience in
Package / Condensing Products Design
In-depth knowledge of
sheet metal processes, operations, tools, and equipment
Proficient in
Autodesk Inventor, Creo, and AutoCAD
