XThe British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ two 1:1 Primary Inclusion Teachers to work with students. The roles are to start as soon as possible. Whilst these are not permanent roles, there is a requirement to commit to full time teaching. Payment would be made on a daily rate for days worked.
The candidates will have one or more of the following:
A UK qualified teacher with either a BEd or a BA/BSc plus PGCE with experience of supporting children with hearing differences/cochlear implants
Will have substantial experience/qualification in Special Educational Needs
A UK trained Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist.

Role 1 - 1:1 Inclusion Teacher -- Early Years (CHARGE Syndrome)
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and child-centred professional to join our Inclusion Team as a 1:1 Inclusion Teacher for a nursery-aged child with CHARGE Syndrome. This role focuses on creating a nurturing, empowering, and communication-rich learning environment where the child can meaningfully engage, build autonomy and thrive.
The successful candidate will:
Build a warm, trusting and attuned relationship with the child
Support communication development
Facilitate sensory-safe and joyful learning experiences
Collaborate closely with families and the multidisciplinary Inclusion Team
Embrace neurodiversity-affirming practice, presuming competence and celebrating the child's strengths
Adapt learning spaces and routines in a flexible, child-led and responsive way
Advocate for accessible, inclusive participation across all aspects of nursery life
Essential qualities:
Deep commitment to inclusion and dignity-based support
Understanding of early childhood development and sensory needs
Experience supporting children with hearing differences / cochlear implants
Curiosity, patience, play-based teaching skills and a collaborative mindset

Role 2 - 1:1 Inclusion Teacher - Key Stage 2 (Year 5)
We are looking for a caring, reflective and relationship-focused 1:1 Inclusion Teacher to support a Year 5 learner in accessing the curriculum and developing positive, confident relationships in school.
This role centres around connection, emotional safety and supporting a bright, capable learner to feel successful, engaged and proud of their progress.
The successful candidate will:
Build a warm, trusting and supportive relationship with the learner
Adapt learning tasks to maximise access, confidence and independence
Use calm, patient and child-centred communication strategies
Provide coaching and emotional support during learning and social times
Promote positive peer interactions and social confidence
Help the child recognise and communicate their needs
Understand how to reduce pressure, build motivation and celebrate success
Work closely with classroom staff, Inclusion Team and parents
