1. Project Manager Urban And Regional Planning

Job Description
The candidate will report to Design Director and will be responsible for overall design and technical delivery of the assigned project sections. His role will involve managing all the design aspects of the assigned disciplines and coordination with the internal design teams.
He/she will be responsible for the success of the project from a technical and programme perspective. He/she will be responsible for stakeholder management. He/she is also responsible for maintaining technical standards, compliance with the quality plans and procedures, internal and external design coordination as well as providing effective management and guidance on technical delivery and project teams.
Responsible for managing the setup of all design management systems and documents, ensures technical staff are appointed and roles and responsibilities of each team member is well defined and reporting lines and communications is established. Responsible for successful delivery of the assigned Scope of Works from inception to final implementation including quality, time, cost and technical alignment with client sectors and procedures.
The incumbent will role model SJ values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all project delivery activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
Requirements
\xc2\xa7 Min. 20 years relevant experience.
\xc2\xa7 Must have experience in urban and regional planning, technical coordination and stakeholder management
\xc2\xa7 Candidate should be competent in GIS and other relevant software
\xc2\xa7 Experience in administering a contract/s for large scale planning projects would be an advantage.
\xc2\xa7 The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Urban Planning and an advanced degree in project management or PMP would be an advantage.
\xc2\xa7 International experience working in the field of development planning in several countries preferably in the Gulf region.
\xc2\xa7 Experience in implementation of master plans for these disciplines is required.
\xc2\xa7 Experience in leadership positions, management, contractual, financial and conflict resolution.
\xc2\xa7 Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English is a must
