What will be my primary responsibilities in this role:
Operate on a global level within the Emerson organization
Champion the development of MEA strategic sales and marketing plans
Manage the sales cycle of multiple parallel pursuits with values of up to $5m each
Maximize market awareness of ESI / Monarch products and services through product demonstrations, exhibitions, and road shows
Maintain and Update Top 25 and all other projects in CRM, POR and GPP systems
Provide necessary communication and reports for tracking of progress and status, including accurate bookings / sales forecasts and project status
Develop and grow and support the existing customer base
Lead other sales engineers / managers where applicable
Assist in establishing specific business development plans and strategies for all ETS Software products and services with assigned internal and external sales channels to include our local business channel partners throughout MEA
Liaise with sales channel representatives to prioritize effort, gather competitive intelligence and improve customer service, consistent with divisional sales strategies and account plans
Develop, drive and lead growth initiatives and training needs assessments for sales channel representatives
Deliver / Facilitate level of awareness / education to sales channel representatives and customers as required
Liaise with other departments / organizations as necessary to ensure effective delivery of a customer centric solution, offering customer service levels that set Emerson ahead of its competitors
Liaise with Finance and CFS to resolve any invoice discrepancies and help reduce the company DSO levels
Always ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
Interface with Customer, EPCs and Consultants senior management and convey the benefits of ETS Software solutions at senior level
Engage with the Customer, EPCs and Consultant on technical issues, define the technical solution in cooperation with ETS Software technical teams
Lead development and qualification, proposal and deal management, product demonstrations, and negotiation of contracts within company guidelines
Build relationships and establish credibility with clients to identify key business and operational challenges and position ETS Software products and service
What do I need to qualify for this role:
Engineering degree or equivalent with 8 years or more experience
Solid track record in direct and representative software sales experience
Control and Instrumentation and or flow technology background in the Oil Gas industry
Industry process / business system knowledge in the oil and gas pipeline, storage, marketing and distribution functions
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
