Senior Project Quality Manager - (2103211)

Job Overview: Senior Manager Assurance will have overall responsibility for the project quality management activities implementation, and act as a focal point for quality assurance and quality control related matters within the PMT throughout all phases of the project.
Create strategic vision of the Project's Quality program for each area of fabrication, execution and ensure its adequate deployment.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in all facets of Quality Management (Vision & Strategy, Quality Initiatives, Pedormance Quality, for continuous improvement) within the project.
Liaise with Project Manager/ Director, PMT Functional Managers, Operations Managers (Fab/Marine), Lead Engineers, QAQC Functional leads, Ceåifying Authority & Client and supervise PQMs, Principal Quality Ops Specialist, Principal Assurance Specialists and Senior Assurance Specialists. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge & experience in quality assurance activities such as problem solving, root cause analysis
  • (RCA), CAPA, quality training, performance metrics, objectives & targets, and goa/ setting.
  • Identifies and manages project risk and issues related to quality and responsible for project QA/QC budget forecasting, resource planning and establishing budgets that are proportionate to the level of work activity and effective cost control.
  • Prepare project quality plan, based on Project contract documents and Project Execution Plan identifying unique project requirements.
  • Implement corporate Quality Management System in al/ project QA/QC activities.
  • Initiate Quality Planning for the project to assure compliance to all contractual requirements through proactive and preventive measures.
  • Responsible for Project QA/QC Quality Team setup and ensure that adequate, competent resources are available to meet project requirements. Suppott PMT in set-up process.
  • Emphasis & Drive Pefformance Quality to ensure efficiency & effectiveness within the process to deliver 'First Time Quality'.
  • Inculcate a culture of continual improvement through identification and implementation of Best practices in the project.
  • Set the process for developing the project audit plan in compliance to the contractual standards.
  • Assess the capability of Suppliers and subcontractors on a periodic basis and ensure that the Suppliers meet project requirements
  • Implementing lessons learned across projects, ensuring that the system not only compiles LL but also builds into the infrastructure necessary to prevent.
  • Ensure that a robust change management system is in place for all phases of the project, by which any change both internal and external are identified and mitigated at the outset.
  • Execute the process of statistical process analysis (SPC) to determine trends, KPls, Q], Cost of Quality, etc. for each functional process within the company.
  • Attend weekly internal operations meetings and provide inputs to relevant topics and update Quality stats to the Project and Functional Management representatives.
  • Actively contribute to the continual improvement process based on trends emerging from audits, Performance Quality data and Root Cause Analysis findings.
  • Attend weekfy/Monthly Project meetings with client and resolving Quality related issues on project.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • Bachelor's in engineering
  • Mechanical or Structural or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 20+ years of experience with at least 15 years in Quality Assurance & 10 years in EPC/ projects as a QC/QC Manager.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
  • Lead Assessor and Project Management
