Job Purpose:

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. The role involves enforcing security procedures, monitoring premises, and ensuring compliance with UAE security standards. Candidates with prior

military experience

and a

valid UAE Security Certificate (SIRA/PSBD)

are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to company premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter. Conduct regular patrols around buildings, gates, and perimeters to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized entry or suspicious activity. Report and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches. Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems, ensuring they function effectively. Maintain security logs, visitor registers, and daily activity reports. Assist in fire drills, evacuation procedures, and emergency response operations. Inspect vehicles and materials entering and leaving the premises. Support in maintaining discipline and ensuring adherence to company safety and security policies. Conduct training sessions for other security personnel in a timely manner. Perform any other duties assigned by the management related to safety and security.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience as a Security Officer, preferably with

military background.

Certification:

Valid

SIRA or PSBD (UAE Security Certificate)

is mandatory.

Skills:

Strong observation and reporting skills. Ability to act quickly and calmly in emergencies. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and alert. Basic knowledge of security systems and procedures.

Language:

Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

Working Hours:

8-12 hours per day (shift-based).
