Position summary:

Configures SAP Financial and Management Accounting into the SAP ERP system, perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions to ensure standardize functionalities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Completes end to end Business solutions in SAP S4HANA, consulting & supporting by understanding and adapting IT to Business requirements.
  • Deploy and manage SAP solutions through the application of SAP technology, services and methodologies.
  • Gather business requirements, participates in system design, configures and tests existing system and provides post implementation support for enhancements to the current system.
  • Implements and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.
  • Work with other Process Team(s) in resolving key integration points, cross -functional processes, and development and execution of the cutover activities to ensure they are properly accounted for.
  • Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications
  • Resolves Month end and Year end Issues
  • Develop and maintain roadmap for the Finance and Controlling solution, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap.
  • Communicate and collaborate proactively and effectively with the SAP team and Business Stakeholders to address the needs.
  • Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed
  • Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements
  • Act as a 2nd line support for key users in the respective modules for all company codes.
  • Provide Training for key users
  • Lead the junior consultants in the respective module and provide on job training and mentoring.
  • Documents all support & implementation configurations
  • Provides advisory & consultancy for business leaders to follow the best practices
  • Adhere to the company's policies and regulations, including its vision and mission.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Sc in Finance or equivalent
  • SAP S4HANA finance professional certification

  • Professional certificate in finance like CA/CMA
  • International Finance certificate.


  • 2+ E2E implementations in SAP S/4 HANA latest release on Simple Finance (S-FIN)
  • 3+ E2E implementations in SAP ECC with overall 5+ E2E implementations.
  • Overall 8+ years of Experience in SAP consulting & support in financial business domain preferably in FMCG industry.
  • Extensive work Exp. into SAP S/4HANA & FICO module with (from Realization and support Phases)
  • Significant Experience on entire project life cycle including Business Process Analysis, Blue Print Validation, Gap Analysis, Design, Configuration, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Data Conversion, System Testing, Post Go-Live, Go Live and Production Support
  • Strong functional experience in Implementation, Customization, Configuration,
  • Integration, Testing, User Training and Production Support in SAP s/4HANA system
  • Expertise in configuration and customization of FI (GL, A/P, A/R, AA and Banks including automatic payment & reconciliation)
  • Expertise in ABAB for customized reports & other enhancements
  • Expertise in ABAB for customized reports & other enhancements

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Well versed in FMCG costing, costing variances and ML different options.
  • Solid knowledge in SAP FI including (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banks, Fixed Assets and Closing).
  • Solid Knowledge in SAP CO Including (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Order, Product Costing, Material Ledger).
  • Business solution based on business requirement is key strength.
  • Strong working knowledge in Controlling (CCA, IO, PCA, PC, ML and COPA)
  • Sound Knowledge on integration with MM, SD, HR, PM, PS& PP modules

- Language English - fluent, Arabic
