DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


3.1 Assist the physician in ENT examination and ENT procedure.


3.2 Provides for the physical, psychological and social needs of the patient and families.


3.3 Complies with established Nursing Department Policies and Procedures.


3.4 Maintain and update all relevant patient documentations/medical records as per hospital policy and procedures.


3.5 Maintains confidentiality of patient's records.


3.6 Administer drugs/medications as per doctor's orders.


3.7 Participates in the rehabilitation, admission and discharge of patients/families.


3.8 Follows the reporting mechanisms/chain of command in the Nursing Department. Ensuring patient care issues are correctly and quickly reported.


3.9 Takes responsibility for professional clinical practice and is actively involved in updating and continuing education.


3.10 Attends and participates in departmental meetings.


3.11 Participates in performance improvement activities within nursing department.


3.12 Competent to demonstrate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation technique.


3.13 Monitor hospital environment for compliance with Infection Control policy and Procedure.


3.14 Demonstrate awareness of fire/equipment hazards and the necessary precautions to be activated as per hospital policy.


3.15 Adherent the procedure of Prescription Order review.


3.16 Maintain all documents of MSDS , HAZMAT in coordination with FMS Team


3.17 Maintain infection control documents


3.18 To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations & Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.

QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing. Current license in country of origin and with DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E. Minimum 2 years nursing experience after qualification. BLS provider. * Good English spoken & written, Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
