POSITION SUMMARY:

The Office of Medical Services is seeking a talented and motivated Registered Nurse who is MOH Certified in the field of Health Care Provider to provide high standard medical services for the benefit of AU Community.


MAIN DUTIES:
Deliver prompt response and care to any emergency across the campus. Execute nursing work, including receiving patients, identifying their needs, and checking patients' parameters (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, etc.). Screen all the fitness certificates submitted by AU new applicants. Screen all PCR tests submitted by AU Community (staff and students) Screen all vaccine cards submitted by AU Community. Respond to the enquiries and calls received in the clinic. Provide psychological support with empathy to patients in distress seeking the medical clinic support.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years of post-qualification work as a professional registered nurse is required alongside the abovementioned skills. MOH license. BLS holder. IOSH certificate
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Excellent computer skills. Fluent in English and Arabic. Excellent administrative skills. Team player, and duty flexibility whenever needed. Strong interpersonal skills. Customer-oriented skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy, professionalism.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment, which does not Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment. May be required to submit to annual TB and rubella screening.
