Procurement Officer (arabic Speaker)

Job Description
Urgently looking for a Arabic speaker Procurement Officer for a Holding group of companies;
(Only Arabic speakers with valid QID will be considered for the position due to the current requirements) Role:
- To handle all activities related to procurement, and to ensure achieving the best terms of quality, price, and delivery conditions.
- Identify vendors and negotiate purchase conditions with approved suppliers.
- Process the purchase requests from different companies and departments.
- Follow up with vendors and finalize purchase orders.
- Prepare purchase orders and send it to suppliers.
- Monitor delivery of goods, and process payments as per the LPO terms and conditions.
- Provide analytical reports related to the procurement functions.
- Maintain ongoing surveillance of the market, monitors price trends and keep ?abreast of supplies developments.
- Abide by all group policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Management or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement
- Can speak/type Arabic fluently
- Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting skills
- Working under pressure skills
- Valid QID/Needs to transfer the sponsorship
- Valid Qatar Driving license
- Diploma (Preferred)
- Purchasing/Procurement: 3 years (Preferred)
- direct dealing with suppliers: 2 years (Preferred)
- Arabic (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
- Qatar ID (Preferred)
- Qatar Driving License (Preferred)
