Worley is currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument & Control Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Leading the instrumentation design for the assigned project interacting with other disciplines, client and vendors as required

Specific Accountabilities

Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied Overall supervision of instrument engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project and the development of project electrical deliverables Prepare instrument cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects. Identify and review new technologies development which may provide more efficient and cost-effective solutions Manage design change within project budget and schedule framework Prepare instrument progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis Manage project discipline resource requirements Development of project cost estimates Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables Participation in Site survey and data collection for instrument design Participation in design reviews, value engineering workshops Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team Ensuring technical integrity of the instrument deliverables for the project. Ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards. Specifications and data sheets for instrument equipment Factory inspection and testing of instrument equipment

Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university Minimum 18 years Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore projects Minimum of 5 years of experience leading an engineering team the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. Has led Mega-Scale projects and recent projects with ADNOC or other GCC companies. Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas Good Communication skills, supervision, leadership Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
