Job Description

  • Outline guidelines and policies for smooth & efficient functioning of the department.
  • Responsible for allocating MEP, and supervision to ensure the quality of services provided to customers.
  • Manage all technical (Engineering functions) direct and subcontracted services, ensuring all services are delivered in a consistent and compliant manner and to the required quality and standards.
  • Recommend promotions/allowances for management approval.
  • Ensuring material supplies are provided on time to carry out works within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained and provided materials are of the right quality.
  • Ensure stores are maintained on-site where applicable and stock accuracy is maintained as per company targets. Ensure all vehicles holding stock are stocked with correct materials and meet the requirements of their areas. Identify long lead time items and ensure stock is available.
  • Liaise daily with Procurement and Stores to ensure materials are readily available - Manage petty cash within the area of responsibility adhering to expense policies.
  • Routinely inspect all subcontracted services to ensure performance measures are being maintained.
  • Ensure training of all staff if delivered to deliver quality of service as required by customers. Identify training needs and to forecast training with a technical trainer.
  • Actively encourage multi skills staff to increase flexibility and job satisfaction. Develop teams to upsell products within the area of responsibility.
  • Conduct Safety inspections monthly within the area of responsibility. Ensure all staff work towards company target levels of safety. Promote Health and Safety within the workplace
  • Report any incidents within the time frame as set in the escalation matrix.
  • Support central stores in Identifying and Sourcing Spares & Consumables for all equipment and maintaining optimum inventory Preparing Breakdown analysis reports and review with Subordinates.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies which promote productivity, efficiency, and maximum quality within the area of responsibility.
  • Support the area to maximize the use of the CAFM system. Ensure SOPs are in place and technicians follow strict guidelines on job completion and the use of the PDA's. Identify key development areas and deal with inefficiencies within company targets.
  • To manage excellent relationships with customers, clients, Internal management, our suppliers, and other partners.
  • Act as a role model for people management processes ensuring they are followed to clarify objectives, actively manage performance, and develop skills (1-2-1's, Team Talks, and team reviews).
  • Retention of staff; always challenge staff to deliver on job requirements, and develop staff to ensure productivity within the team.
  • Challenge inappropriate levels of workmanship and develop improvements where possible.
  • Set objectives for supervisors who are direct reports and remain agile based on requirements of the area of responsibility.
  • Support the development of business-wide objectives. Identify new products and revenue streams for their area of responsibility and the business. Liaison with the Client & Finance on Outstanding payments
  • Participate in the selection of contractors, service providers, suppliers, and their services.
  • Two-way communication with management and Service providers/contractors within the allocated services
  • Operational control is maintained over
  • Contracts/ service provider's performance level.
  • Quality of Service Delivered.
  • Operational costs, budget o HSEQ standards.
  • Ensure that all staffs are aware of the company's Rules and IMS program and the reporting of all / any incidents, or issues.
Requirements: Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline ( Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
  • Any certification in facilities management from a recognized body.
Experience:
  • He/she should have a minimum of 5 years of experience with Maintenance or in a similar position with an MEP company.
  • Experience in facilities management service delivery to a broad range of customers, especially VVIP Customers.
  • Awareness of market trends, legislation, industry, and best practice in Facilities Management
  • Hand-in experience using SALESFORCE and MICROSOFT DYNAMICS 365
Skills:
  • Should be Technology driven.
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Should possess valid UAE driving license
  • Should have a good working knowledge of common computer applications
  • Demonstrate good man-management and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
