Network Administrator Role Purpose:The Network Engineer is responsible for planning and designing the telecommunication connectivity among the business units. He is in charge of the network infrastructure projects management following the international standards methodologies. He manages Telecom Service Providers, Network Vendors and maintains the network contracts. Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Define and maintain the network and communication standards for all Country.Design and set up the Network and Telecommunication between the different cities.Ensure the availability of communication between all different locations (Zone, countries, and stores).Define and Control standards for WAN, LAN, IP schema, Voice and Video accordingly with Majid Al Futtaim Retail Int'l recommendations. Ensure the Security of the WAN.Maintain proper documentation for all relative fields of responsibility.Coordinate the Network and Telecommunication part of the Disaster Recovery Plan for all the country.Guarantee the confidentiality of all company data.Guarantee that the information provided by the systems is accurate, timely and usable.Participate to and implement the DOSI strategyPropose to management evolutions to support the company expansion and integrate the latest technologies.Maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with suppliers and partners.Monitor and optimize the communications between the different locations.Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company.Stay updated of the latest technology Retail network innovations)Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the company's assetsGuarantee the quality, confidentiality and application and protection of company's 'Know-How'Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any downtime in the operations.Guarantee minimal delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operations.Develop retail awareness in order to provide results that arc in line with the business.Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operations.Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company.Propose the latest technologies and innovation that help the operation.Qualification, Experience & Skills:Minimum Qualifications/educationBachelor Degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer science, (Computer Information System).Minimum Experience3 to 5 years of network experienceTechnical SkillsCISCO certification in Data & Voice PABX Network Infrastructure is a must.Knowledge of Network Security, IP camera and Internet setup in a must.Knowledge of Wi-Fi and Wireless Technologies is required.Knowledge of Video Conference and Multimedia Technologies is required.Knowledge of Network traffic analysis and QoS/CoS.
