The position is based Kuwait and will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and CE.

The Position You will support in development of on-going communication and activities in the affiliate in relation to Obesity Treatment. The position's key role is to own, develop and execute a comprehensive multi-media plan to raise awareness of obesity amongst the entire stakeholder landscape. The objective here is to keep the decibel levels high on obesity by driving consistent, ethical and contextual campaigns across all relevant media channels. You will work closely with several departments and stakeholders while having a high degree of exposure to Gulf Cluster leadership team.
Within this position your main task is externally focussed communication by putting the spotlight on obesity in close collaboration with Medical, Marketing and Market Access/Public Affairs team. This will include proactive engagement with media and online influencers as well as creating and maintaining a strong media and print presence. A heavy focus of this position will be to develop and manage campaigns via popular social media channels/communities. In addition to this, you will work with cross functional obesity teams to provide right communication tools to impact patient pathways. This would require you to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as KOLs, DOLs, doctors, patient organizations and societies.
Internally, your main task is to ensure employees are receiving timely information and updates via a well-functioning internal communication system. You will produce content to all channels, and you will arrange engagement activities in relation to Obesity.
Qualifications You have a relevant academic degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or Communication with minimum 3 years of communication experience in a multinational company or print/advertising agency or Media house.
You have excellent command over written and spoken English; Arabic would be an advantage. You will also have relevant business background. You have strong editing and writing skills, and advance knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). You are good at building relations with people and stakeholders, you have a high energy level and a can-do approach. You have a curious personality and have a sharp eye for seeing and telling a good story. You will also have expertise in mass media management as well as a deep knowledge of social media.
As a person you have strong interpersonal skills and are known for building good relations with your colleagues and stakeholders at all levels in an organisation. You can turn complex information into simple and compelling messages. Finally, you have a high energy level and demonstrate can-do-approach. You can manage projects and have knowledge with creating events and you thrive by having many balls in the air.
