Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer - Fire Protection Engineer, will be responsible for a variety of tasks to aid our engineering team and support for a major project or possibly multiple projects. Requirement:
- 4+ Years of UAE experience in estimation, code consulting, and detailed Engineering of fire protection, fire detection systems and smoke management system
- Knowledge in UAE Fire Code, NFPA & Civil Defense Codes, FLS
- Experience in Varies types of sprinkler systems, smoke management system, fire detection, and Alarm System, Clean Agent Fire Protection Systems, MSFD, FM200, CO2 Fire Protection System, design of ventilation fans, smoke management, air distribution system, smoke vents, smoke curtain, and fire curtain
- Ability to handle, review and respond to Fire Contractor submittal related to Shop Drawing, RFI, SCRs
- Proficient in Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Approval process (Initial Drawings & Shop Drawings)
- Preferably having Hand-on experience in Elite Software, however, not mandatory
- Preferably having UAE Civil Defense Engineer License, however, not mandatory
- Preferably have previous work experience as Fire Protection Engineer with Consultant or Fire Contractor in Abu Dhabi, however, not mandatory
- working experience as MEP - Fire Protection: 4 years (Required)
