Job Description
Currently recruiting for a Machinist who will ensure manufacturing processes are completed to the necessary quality standards in the required timeframe.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Programme tool set and operate the machine tools.
- Ensure all production products are manufactured to requirements detailed in the drawing and associated specifications.
- To develop manufacturing methodologies thus improving process lead times and consistency of manufactured parts.
- Control internal process using available additional tools such as Statistical Process Control for small batch manufacturing environments

The Individual
- Education/Training: Diploma or University degree in Engineering or relevant vocational technical qualification
- 3+ years of professional experience in workshop service
- Proven experience in the field
- Ability to discuss and negotiate at all levels
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of John Crane products advantageous
- Lapping and polishing knowledge
- Knowledge of welding a plus.
- Manufacturing vocational training or similar qualifications
- Computer literate
- Languages: English. Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
