Summary: This role is responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and services for the KIPIC project under GIL Freight. Responsibilities include obtaining competitive quotes and samples, and monitoring delivery and account settlement according to agreed payment terms. Responsibilities Issuance of RFQ - review RFQ for correctness of specifications, quantities, etc.; prepare all necessary documents as required for publishing the RFQ Obtain approval for draft RFQ and submit relevant information to enable external coordination and obtain HTC / CTC approval Finalize and issue RFQ and attend Pre-Bid meetings as appropriate Evaluate offers/quotations Prepare necessary recommendation for award and obtain approval as required Issue award fax Receive and check Performance Bank guarantee and Insurance Policies Issue Purchase order and route for approval Prepare necessary recommendation for award of TPI as required Issue necessary TPI call off Review of TPI report. Upon acceptance of the Inspection report, request TPI to issue release note for shipment Follow up with Contractors for on time delivery of the material Follow up clearance of orders under MDR/MIT Process the Invoice for payment after reviewing for delay and process necessary invoke as required

Required Qualifications & Characteristics Bachelor's degree Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role and industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Preferably fluent in English and Arabic Advanced MS Office skills Self-motivated and results oriented, Team player Analytical thinker and able to make sound, independent decisions DSV - Global Transport and Logistics
