Urgently required for a local buyer to be a part of procurement department team in a holding group of companies; Candidate must have previous related experience along with NOC/QID to join immediately and Qatari driving license; Job Objective: To handle all activities related to procurement and ensure to obtain the best terms of quality, price and delivery. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Process material requests. 2. Communicate with local suppliers for required quotations. 3. Request material samples from suppliers if required and follow-up with the end users to obtain feedback / approval. 4. Prepare price comparison for requested material. 5. Generate local purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals. 6. Knowledge of supplies and materials utilized in projects, office, technical, or maintenance operations. 7. Initiate and keep track of purchase orders and keep daily records. 8. Support procurement process. 9. Abide by all group policies and procedures. Educational Background & Experience: 1. High School Diploma. 2. (3 - 5) years work experience in procurement field. Required Competencies 1. Good communication and reporting skills. 2. Good negotiation skills. 3. Good reporting skills. 4.
