Description

Human Capital Business Partner Role Purpose:The Human Capital Business Partner is responsible for facilitating key Human Capital activities on a head office level. The role holder is also responsible for supporting employees with issues pertaining to general employee relations, HC policies and procedures and administrative requests. Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:RecruitmentInitiate recruitment requisitions and coordinate with the Head Office to fulfil recruitment requirementsWork closely with Country HC Manager to select candidates whenever requiredCoordinate and communicate internal transfers between stores and facilitate logistical requirementsParticipate in the on boarding and induction process for all employeesEmployee Relations and AdministrationAddress employee concerns investigate grievances and conflicts and take necessary remedial action to manage employee relationsEnsure the efficient delivery of HC services to employeesWork closely with Head Office to administer the preparation of employment contracts to ensure that all contracts released are in line with defined guidelinesEnsure timely renewal of contracts for all the employeesParticipate in conducting exit interviews employees and oversee the handover of company assetsVerify and validate payroll data and documents and carry out regular audits to ensure its accuracyEnsure the compensation and benefits are administered to all employeesEnsure implementation of policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety and security, for accommodation facilities in order to maintain adherence to organizational requirementsTraining and PerformanceCoordinate training programs with internal stakeholders and other training providers as per requirements to ensure employee talent developmentEnsure training programs and initiatives contribute to the progress of the stores' customer service levelHuman Capital ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior managementAssist in implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior managementProvide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key rolesProvide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirementsDevelop and implement on the job-training for the teamProvide inputs for the development of annual manpower planEnsure the implementation of MAF Retail's corporate policies and relevant proceduresQualification, Experience & Skills:Minimum Qualifications/Education.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any relevant discipline Minimum experienceA minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in a Human Capital supervisory roleSkillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)Ability to manage individuals and groupsAbility to measure training effectsStrong and pragmatic problem solving, along with analytical capabilitiesHighly organized with effective multitasking skills
