Overview:
Under supervision of the HR Operations Supervisor, performs professional level human resources activities in onboarding, training and HR operations. Tracks employees’ accommodations and enforces quarantine compliance. Implements and oversees the restriction of movement policy. Confers with managers/supervisors, CONUS and OCONUS HR, and site personnel during the duration of employees’ N-mIRDO onboarding and restriction of movement. Responsibilities:

  • Performs professional level human resources activities in onboarding, training and HR operations.
  • Tracks employees’ accommodations and enforces quarantine compliance.
  • Liaison with hotel vendor to ensure accurate number of rooms available.
  • Implements and oversees the restriction of movement policy.
  • Confers with managers/supervisors, CONUS and OCONUS HR, and site personnel during the duration of employees’ N-mIRDO onboarding and restriction of movement.
  • Assist with running reports and analyzing metrics
  • Book hotel accommodations and secure rental vehicles for business travelers as needed
  • Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
    • One-year experience in HR
    • Practical knowledge of assigned HR functional areas
    • Previous experience working on a Government Contract or LOGCAP would be a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Skilled working in a team-orientated environment and able to demonstrate strong customer service skills within an organization.
    • Communicates professionally orally and in writing
    • Previous knowledge in an HRIS systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, etc.)
  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
    • Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures and war zones.
  • PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
    • Work may require heavy lifting, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
