Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and comprehensive dental examinations on patients to assess their oral health and identify any potential issues
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and oral infections
- Perform dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and dentures
- Administer anesthetics and sedatives when necessary to ensure patient comfort during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care, such as cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthodontists and periodontists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and take thorough notes during examinations and treatments
- Keep abreast of new techniques and technologies in the field of dentistry and incorporate them into practice when applicable
- Adhere to all industry and company regulations, standards, and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license and successful completion of national and state boards
- Proven experience as a General Dentist with a strong track record of providing exceptional dental care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with patients
