Job Description

Pernod Ricard has engaged in an ambitious Digital Transformation program to enable high adaptability and full focus on impact and value creation activities. Although spearheaded by Finance, and requiring the function to become faster, more flexible, and forward-looking, this global transformation program will impact significantly other functions and layers of the organization as well as the management of the S&OP and business monitoring in general.
The creation of the Regional Finance transformation team aims at dealing with the complexity, interdependencies and significant scope and resources (beyond traditional boundaries of Finance).
Reporting to the Chief Finance Transformation Officer, the position will be responsible for driving transformation initiatives across Pernod Ricard Asia business units, and transversally across various workstreams, engaging different functions (Finance, IT, Commercial, Marketing and Operations).
This position of Regional Finance transformation manager will support 6-8 Asia markets on their Finance transformation journey process in the ambitious timeframe defined by the group.
Responsibilities
Drive Finance transformation initiatives across Asia, with a particular focus on EPM implementation, MDM and Beyond Budget
  • Key focus in short/mid term will be on Beyond Budget and Polaris implementation.
  • In close collaboration with Transformation teams in PR HQ (i.e. Finance Digital transformation team led by Julien Soisson and Global Business Development teams) and in PRA (led by Christophe Lemarie), identify affiliates’ needs and constraints to operationalize the Global designs of Beyond Budget.
  • Manage key stakeholders’ expectations (PRA CODI, Affiliates CODI, HQ transformation teams) by ensuring proper communication and conflict resolution. Lead the discussions and collaborate with HQ/PRA project team members and PR Asia affiliates Finance teams to build alignment.
  • Act as a relay of the Finance Transformation HQ team in Asia and as a key advisor to Financial Directors of PR Asia Affiliates to prioritize and organize affiliates’ efforts to successfully implement the various initiatives, leveraging the best practices amongst the Region and the Group.
  • Act as a Project Management Office in PR Asia to coordinate between internal & external project teams, following up on timelines and milestones up to the adoption of the new ways of working required to ensure a successful roll-out of the various Finance 4.0 and CBP transformation initiatives by all PR Asia Affiliates.
  • Act as subject matter expert and lead the implementation for specific new finance transformation initiatives across Asia (e.g.- mutualization, outsourcing, process automation…)...
Key expected outcomes in FY23 for targeted affiliates (in line with Global ambitions)
  • The build-up of 3Y mandates
  • The kick-off of rolling forecast process down to Business Profit
  • The organization of quarterly business reviews to replace historical budget process. The ambition is to avoid performing B24
  • The implementation of Polaris as new Group EPM, to replace PRISMA
Position will work with
  • Day to day will be with the PR Asia affiliates Finance Teams.
  • Ad-hoc frequent interactions with Group initiative stakeholders, in HQ and in Asia.

Qualifications/Skills
  • Distinctive skills in understanding big picture & long-term view with their implications in operational roadmaps
  • Strong operational skills in Finance
  • Tech enthusiast who understands the impact of new technologies in the business (AI, dashboards, process automation, data architecture, etc)
  • Self-starter, motivated individual who works independently without need for daily direction
  • Effective communicator who can facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and ever-changing environment leveraging strong interpersonal and influencing skills, in English
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external to develop positive working relationships and ability to lead and work with different level of Team maturity.
  • Agile individual, with ability to continuously adapt to changes, to stakeholders and effectively navigate through ambiguity; decide and act without having the full picture; learn and appropriately change one’s approach in response to new information (Test, Learn and Optimize).
  • Networking abilities to build relationships across the region and department with key stakeholders, curious to explore and deepen understanding of latest innovations, trends and transformation best practices
  • Results driven, with proven attention to detail, excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and personal and organisation skill; ability to work under pressure, respecting deadlines and conflicting priorities; challenger of the status quo
Job Requirements
  • Masters’ Degree or equivalent in Business, Management or Finance
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience (international experience preferred)
  • Experience in managing transformation and project management
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken), French is a plus
  • Consulting background and Project Management certification or formal training are both a plus
