The Position Your Responsibilities
  • Create Business development strategy that foster internal strengths and capabilities to gain new business in UAE and the region
  • Create and own the assessment and go-to-market plans for new solutions, enhancements and new market segments/commercial models
  • Contribute to achieve the country overall financials targets
  • Manages a defined sales accounts to achieve sales and financial targets in accordance with the company's strategic goals
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives in targeted accounts
  • Interacts with business managers to communicate sales performance, and cooperates with Marketing and support functions to implement promotional strategies and to monitor competitor's activities
  • Continuous search for opportunities in the market and develop strong relationship with key stakeholders
  • Identifies, create appropriate business plan, develops and typically closes new business opportunities
  • Promotes and sells a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions directly to new customers
  • Analyze competitive landscape and adapt the local strategy to maintain the competitive edge in the market
  • Develop customer prospects and create and maintain relationships with decision makers
  • Works to build and maintain network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and present product narrative to customers
  • Adaptable to understand different market challenges and opportunities to act accordingly towards the business priority
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
  • Contacts new customers (Non-Roche) as targeted accounts, and developing new business, growing existing business, maintaining customer relationships and solving customer problems. This includes identifying and developing strategic account plans, developing and delivering the differentiating message and quantifiable economic value for products and services, selling the primary differentiation of Roche products, overcoming and managing objections, and negotiating to obtain sales.
  • Generates demand and maximizes product awareness by working with and providing education and information to customers
  • Ability to sell digital products and position the impact to the healthcare system and patients.
  • Communicates competitive market information internally
  • Actively participate in allocated squads (multidisciplinary business team with a common goal) mainly with the aim to:
    • Gather customer insights and market data
    • Contribute to strategic plan development
    • Define general approach for new clients and regularly revise the approach
Compliance You are expected to adhere through your conduct to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche. Who You Are
  • You hold a BSc/MSc degree in Medical, Biomedical, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar scientific. An MBA in business or marketing is considered a plus
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales or equivalent
  • You have advanced knowledge on all Roche Diagnostics (IVD) solutions, and that of competitors as well
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills. You are able to expresses ideas fluently and eloquently
  • You are result focused and have strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • You are all in for teamwork and collaboration, and inspire others to do their best work by offering support and encouragement
  • You have a growth mindset with the ability to think and plan strategically
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to establish trust and strong collaborative relationships
  • You listen well and are open to input/insights from others
  • You can be depended on to tell the truth regardless of the circumstances, and are capable of resolving conflict by creating an atmosphere of openness and trust
  • You are fluent in English. Arabic is a plus, or any spoken language in the market
