Role Purpose:

Solutions architect -Applications and Integration provides the necessary analysis and design tasks related to the development of Data and Analytics Applications and Data Integration solutions architecture. The role requires providing cohesive architecture expertise and focusing on delivering a solution strategy and architecture that supports required in MAF Tech Data and Analytics platforms and Data Integration capabilities.

This individual creates deliverables that help develop a direction for managing the organization's Data products and Data integration and patterns portfolio of "as is" and "to be" solutions - including systems (Data Architecture, Analytical applications, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared Analytic applications and data services and components to better match targeted business outcome objectives. Solution architect guides and designs different analytical applications which are based on advances Data technologies architecture paradigms, such as definition of Data integration patterns, e.g Real-time, near real-time, and batch etc, that influence design decisions and patterns that provide proven design Data solutions. Applications and Integration Solution Architect will responsible for providing the framework that appropriately replicates the Data needs of a different use cases build on MAF Analytics platform utilizing data, hardware and software, and cloud services, developers, and other IT infrastructure with the goal of aligning the MAF Data Strategy with its business goals.

Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Working collaboratively across the organisation, lead the development and implementation of standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Working with closely with EA to evolve agreed reference architectures supported by appropriate collaboration and review mechanisms
• Understanding MAF strategic priority projects and initiatives and provide input for developing a roadmap of integration architecture solutions that will deliver on these over the short, mid and long-term.
• Ensuring Data application and integration architecture governance is adhered to through the appropriate governance processes.
• Translating the organisation's strategic vision, and the expectations around effective into solution architecture.
• Producing documented frameworks and architectures which describe and are used to manage the implementation of MAF different kind of Data products, applications and integration are going to be integrated internally and where required, globally.
• Align the MAF data solutions and integration with internal and external Client initiatives as requested
• Understanding and communicating technical advances and trends which have the potential to positively impact MAF overall enterprise architecture.
• Providing professional advice and support to other Solution Architecture on Data architecture, and Data integration matters, providing analytical platform for their own learning and development where appropriate
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of Data product and application standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom configurations and how different applications are going to integrate.
• Document all Data solutions architecture design and analysis work.
• Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of Data analytical platforms, product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations.
• Work closely with the program management office (PMO) or project management office to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised.

• Documented and up-to-date application and integration architecture repository of all as-is solutions across the group
• Successful Delivery of the Solution within pre-defined KPI and KGI
• Continuously identify and address solution architecture issues
• Ensuring solution architecture governance thus contributing to higher rate of technology implementations harmonization and quality across the group
• Understands how organisations work and applies this to getting things done through formal and informal channels

Minimum experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Integration solution development disciplines, including technical architecture
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt

Minimum Qualifications/education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
