Job Summary Looking for an experienced Senior VAT accountant, who will be able to work independently with different companies.   • We require a fully experienced Accountant with following credentials.
  • Must be aged below 35.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Auditing & Accounting firm
  • Minimum 5 years in the UAE.
  • Fully familiarized with Internal and External Auditing.
  • Fully familiarized with bookkeeping for different types of business
  • Strong knowledge in VAT, IFRS, ISA etc.
  • Able to handle engagements independently.
  • Advanced computer skills( Excel , Tally , Sage, Quick book's etc).
  • Able to handle work under pressure.
  • Able to lead and manage a team
  • have an experience in business development & bring more clients to the business
Job Qualifications and Experience A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
At least or more years of accounting experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills required
Proficiency in accounting software required
Should be able to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment
A male candidate is required for this role
Possession of real estate experience will be a plus Audits
  • Coordinate projects involving internal and external audits to ensure that they have appropriate access to information and people within the organization
  • Maintain monthly closing checklist under the supervision of the line manager.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well informed of developments, knowledge and innovation in relevant field of expertise
  • Further develop expertise through off the job training activities and involvement in more complex tasks and projects
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ CA, CMA / ACCA).
  • 3-6 years of experience within the financial accounting.
  • 3 years' experience with a proven successful track in a similar position. (Real Estate / Construction sector preferred).
  • Experience within a tax environment is an advantage.
  • Top 10 audit firms experience is an advantage.
  • Understanding of UAE VAT laws, VAT registration and implementation (Practical experience),
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
  • Solid knowledge with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IFRS.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular, MS Excel.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Consistent, accurate, Integrity, results oriented, time management, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving skills and self-initiative, negotiation skills & the ability to influence others.
